Overview: America’s biggest and longest-running, single-day professional road race is the TD Bank Philadelphia International Championship, now celebrating its 25th year. More than 200 of the world’s top male professional cyclists descend upon the city for 10 laps of a 14.4-mile circuit through Philadelphia. They will finish with three laps of Lemon Hill and Logan Circle, in one of the biggest special sporting events in the United States.


Course Description: The course begins and ends at the fast and flat Benjamin Franklin Parkway and makes its way through scenic Kelly Drive onto historic Main Street in Manayunk where riders must tackle the infamous and steep 17% grade Manayunk Wall for each of the first ten laps. The last three laps include Lemon Hill and Logan Circle and will finish on Benjamin Franklin Parkway.


Distance: 156 miles / 250 km


2008 Winner: Matti Breschel (DEN) – Team CSC, in 6 hours, 14 minutes, 47 seconds
