Be a VIP at the TD Bank Bike Race!
- 5-9-2011
- Categorized in: 2011 Phila International Cycling Championship
Everyone wants to be a VIP, right? So go for it at the TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship on Sunday, June 5! Easy to do and priced right – from $55 to $125 – becoming a VIP means catching all of the fun, excitement and atmosphere of North America’s largest single-day professional cycling race from two of the event’s best spectator spots -- at the Start/Finish line on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and atop the infamous Manayunk Wall. Plus VIP access provides great food and drink, free parking, no-fuss shuttle service, and a chance to ride the course in an official Acura pace car.
“Our race VIP experiences are loaded with benefits for fans and are very similar to how one might purchase club box seats at a stadium or arena,” said David Chauner, race co-founder. “The difference, as a race VIP, is that you get to enjoy those benefits all day long as the peloton speeds by for each heart-pumping lap.”
Champions Row VIP Lounge
Relax – or cheer like crazy – in this tented lounge right at the Start/Finish line in the heart of the action on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Not only will you see the racers up close and personal, especially as they’re called to the line for the start of the pro races and as they sprint to their too-close-to-call finishes, but you’ll also have a front row seat as the race unfolds with the announcers, the officials and the whips right next to you. This central location provides ideal access to all the race-day festivities, including the TD Bank Family Fun Zone; the Philadelphia Cycling, Health & Fitness Expo; the Junior PCT Grand Prix and the Cadence Cycling Foundation Sprints. You can also keep tabs on other parts of the race course with live coverage on the Jumbotron. Catered breakfast, lunch and beverages will be served all day, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Champions Row VIP tickets also include free remote parking and complimentary shuttle service. Tickets are $95 per person, or $90 each for 4-7 tickets and $85 each for 8 or more tickets.
Top of the Wall Club
Choose the Top of the Wall Club tickets and enjoy a private, tented party at the summit of the infamous Manayunk Wall. This dramatic spot is often where the race is truly won or lost, as the top riders power through the grueling climb and make their move to break out from the peloton. Food and beverages will be served from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in this upscale, tailgate-style tent. Mix it up with the spirited Manayunk crowd while enjoying your prime vantage point as the racers conquer the Wall in seemingly slow motion right before your eyes. Tickets for the Top of the Wall Club are $55 per person.
The Works (The Paramount Package)
Take in all the action with full access to both the Champions Row VIP Lounge and Top of the Wall Club. Enjoy complimentary shuttle service back and forth from the Start/Finish to the Manayunk Wall. The Paramount Package is $125 per person.
Private VIP Suites
Impress your clients and reward your employees in a custom-designed VIP suite for parties of 35-500 guests. To help you host your corporate event in style, event specialists will create a unique, catered hospitality experience on the majestic Ben Franklin Parkway, right next to the racing action.
