PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 4, 2009) – One of the most exciting bicycle teams in the country, Rock Racing, will visit Deptford’s Peddler’s Shop for a meet and greet session and group bike ride, Friday, June 5th starting at 11am.  

Rock Racing, a U.S.-based professional cycling team, is one of the most notable teams competing in Sunday’s Philadelphia International Championship. The team which is sponsored by Philadelphia-based bicycle manufacturer, Kestrel, boasts top rider Freddy Rodriguez who is the former U.S. Professional Champion. “Fast Freddy” is one of the fastest sprinters in the country and will be one of the riders to watch toward the end of the 156-mile race. Other Rock Racing riders include Nic Sanderson, David Vitoria, Jamey Driscoll and David Tanner.

The team will be on site at Peddler’s for an autograph session at 11am. At noon, the team will lead a two hour bike ride from the shop. Anyone who would like to join is encouraged to bring their bike and helmet and ride with the pros.

Peddler’s is centrally located just seconds from the Deptford Mall in the Staples Shopping center on the corner of Deptford center road and route 41 at 1907 Deptford Center Road, Deptford, NJ 08096.
